Beth Greenfield is the author of a memoir, Ten Minutes From Home (Crown, 2010), selected by Barnes & Nobles Discover Great New Authors. She received her M.A. in journalism from New York University and has since written about travel, entertainment, gay culture, real estate and parenting for publications including The New York Times, Esquire, Budget Travel, Lonely Planet guidebooks, Out, Time Out New York Kids, Better Homes & Gardens, Whole Living and Time Out New York, where she was the gay-culture editor for nearly a decade. She now writes a travel blog for Forbes.com and lives in New York City and Provincetown.
